Hey Everyone,

What an amazing day for us Glimpsers! We woke up today later than we usually wake up. We were finally able to wake up at 7, which to everyone was like heaven. After eating a good decent breakfast, we visited the chocolate factory, El Castillo Del Cacao. This chocolate factory was an amazing experience because we were able to see the “behind the scenes” of how chocolate is made. Us Glimpsers are so busy each day in New York City that we don’t have the time to think about things like how the products that we consume are made or how much goes into one product. We had the opportunity to experience the way chocolate was made. We saw how long the process is just to make one chocolate. CHILD! Let me not even tell you how long this process was. Let me just say, every three days the people who work at the factory have to grind 3,000 pounds of cacao for their customers. It takes the workers 15 days to make about 3,000 to 6,000 chocolate bars. CHILD! That GOOD no sleep and bags under the eyes.

Moving on, we headed to the waterfall. This was like the best part of the day. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. Glimpsers laughed and enjoyed each others’ presence. Not a single sign of negativity and it made the day just perfect. All you heard from everyone was, “This day was lit, that’s it.” Finally, we also had the chance to eat food with that GOOD flavor, CHILD my skin was glowing after that. The food we ate at the waterfall was just amazing. It was like the icing on the cake to this day. Being leader of the day has made me realize that a person must be organized everyday. Also, having a big voice is important to have as a person. Having your voice heard is important because it can influence people to step out of their shells and become better than what they are. Being a leader can give you the confidence and ambition to thrive and just be who you are and be known as a positive leader in your everyday life. CHILD I did that GOOD thinking about life. Well, We’ll catch up with you guys later, take care!
