Hi everyone! My name is Jocelyn Morales and I live in Pittsburg (with no H), I go to Pittsburg High School and I really can’t wait to start this experience! I have traveled out of the country before but only to Mexico. This will be my first time traveling without any of my family members and I’m kinda scared but excited at the same time.
I love to read! Reading is one of my favorite things to do because books transports a person to a different world. I also enjoy doing community service because it’s a great way to met new people! I love meeting new people because it’s a way to discover different places and ideas without ever leaving home.
If I could be an animal I would be a dog because dogs are so loyal. I feel that dogs just know when their owners are having off days. They are also very protective of their loved ones and so am I. I just love dogs.
The most exciting part about traveling to Nicaragua is being on my own for the first time. This trip will be the first time I experience what it’s going to feel like being away from my family. I also can’t wait to experience a new culture and the great food that comes along with it!
