Dear Glimpsers, families, and friends,

This amazing journey is about to begin and we want you to meet us: your Program Coordinators, that will accompany you this summer. We have been planning your dynamic 14-day itinerary for your visit to Ecuador for the last few months.

¡Gran día y saludos cordiales! It’s a big pleasure to introduce myself, my name is Mateo Andrés and I’m originally from Mykytá (today known as Bogotá, Colombia). I’m an anthropologist by vocation and an independent musician; I like to play and sing traditional music from Abya Yala (Latin America). I’m sure that art can be used as a tool for social change. I’m in love with life; my conviction is to do things with love and will. I like to travel, ride my bike, and cook. I’m also a father of a beautiful baby named Aba, and I deeply love my wife Francia Elena. For me, it’s a dream come true to be part of GG and receive you all here in Ecuador. With an elevated heart, I’ll be waiting for you. Buen camino y buen tiempo ¡Nos vemos pronto!

Hi! I’m Angelita, and I’m from Riobamba. I’ve lived here for a long time, so I’m very excited to show you our amazing places and amazing things. I have a degree in Tourism along with a master’s degree in Socio-environmental. I really enjoy listening to music along with learning and sharing about culture and customs. I want you to know that I’m a pet lover, so I live with 3 dogs and a cat. I love sewing and also make blouses and hoods. I worked with summer groups similar to Global Glimpse delegations a few years ago and I really, really enjoyed it! So, I’m looking forward to meeting you all and the fun we’ll have! I would like to know about your expectations of this trip and what you know about Ecuador. I’m sure we will enjoy this trip together. See you soon!

The photos were taken in Pucaratambo (one of the places we are going to visit).

Our best regards:
Angelita & Mateo
Big Love!
