This group of Glimpsers share a special bond already! From enjoying yummy Nicaraguan cuisines at welcoming hostels to homemade delicious dragon fruit juice, these students aren’t afraid to experience new things! We left Managua this morning and safely arrived to our adorably humble long term hostel before lunch. We enjoyed lunch together as a group in the hostel’s luscious garden area. The tropical plants bring great beauty and a calming aroma to our new home away from home. We did spend the afternoon reviewing GG protocol and procedures before dinner together, but tomorrow brings fun and adventures out in the city of Matagalpa! The hostel staff could not be more friendly, welcoming and accommodating. For that we are very grateful! Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and keeping an open mind. We can tell already this experience will stick with us forever! More to come tomorrow 😉
