Well, this is it! We return home tomorrow! This morning we woke up, had a nice breakfast, and then got right to packing. After, we had a three hour group reflection which was emotional for many of us as we processed our experiences and relationships made along the trip. Lunch was concluded with a cake for Alex’s birthday (Happy Birthday Alex! We all thank you for being such a inspirational and knowledgable leader). Then we were off to Salva Negra “Black Forest”, a breath taking coffee farm, hotel, and resturant. Most of us walked around the scenic pond and sipped one last coffee before taking the long bus ride back to Managua. Now we are back in the same hostel we stayed at 18 days ago, when we were for the most part still strangers to each other. The bond all of us has formed is astonishing and will extend far beyond this trip. We opened up to eachother on night one and since then we have only grown closer. Saying good bye tomorrow will be difficult but we are already planning adventures with each other once we get back home. Family and friends, we are excited to be home soon and share stories of our life changing experience with you!
