Hello all! I’m Natasha White and will be one of the 2 Global Glimpse Leaders accompanying the trip to the Dominican Republic in just a couple days! I’m very excited about getting to meet all of you and start our journey together. I hope you all are too!
I’m originally from Chicago but grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and St. Louis. I attended North Central College in Naperville, IL and graduated with a BA in Broadcast Communications. I started working at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) in the Residential Life department as a Residential Counselor during my final semester of college. I worked there for a year before taking time to travel abroad and teach English in Japan. After a year there, I transitioned back to IMSA and this coming fall will be my 3rd academic year there. Although I’m active in supporting students academically as well as in various clubs/ activities, this is my first time participating in the Global Glimpse program. Though I have traveled with/ chaperoned students before, this will be my first time helping to lead a group internationally and I’m very much looking forward to it! See you all soon!
