Amy here (girl in the Argentina jersey). It was extremely difficult to find a picture of myself, since I’m usually the one taking the pictures!

The school year is wrapping up and I’m getting more and more psyched for this trip. I’ve never been to South America before, and I’m probably most looking forward to the food, and the sights. I’m not that great at speaking Spanish, so hopefully my skills will be shored up when we go and speak to locals in the city.

A little about me: I’m from Berkeley, CA. I’m a musician, and my favourite pursuits involve books and beaches. Lately I’ve really been into hikes and camping. My optimal time of day is the early morning (not like most people, I know)…I appreciate sunrises. When I go traveling, I try as hard as I can to get as many sunrises as I can – it’s surprising how similar and different those quiet mornings are from place to place.

I love soccer games (I don’t play, myself), but I am a karateka…Seido.

Musical tastes: I’m into most musical styles – jazz, classical, indie rock, house, etc. All time favourite group is Ratatat.
