Hello all!

We are now less than a week away from our adventures in Ecuador, and I could not be more excited to share this experience with you all. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

My name is Heather Lanza, and I am your third GGL for RB3B. I am the Director of Education for a theater company called Waterwell, and we are in residency at the Professional Performing Arts School in Midtown Manhattan. I am a true theater person to the core, and along with the work I do for Waterwell and PPAS, I work as a freelance director in NYC. I was lucky enough to do my undergrad in Directing at Fordham University, and later went on to get my MA in Applied Theater from CUNY. This is where I began my work as a teaching artist and discovered my love of teaching.

I absolutely love traveling, and think it is such an important part of my personal learning and growth. Some of my most influential experiences have been going to a new place that is completely different from where I am from. I know that this trip will be the same for me, and for all of our traveling students as well, and I can’t wait to share this time with them.
