Hi everyone my name is Victor and today I was the fourth leader of the day. Today, our day was very simple and relaxing, it was our first tiempo libre (free day). To begin with, our delegation got to sleep in so I woke up at 7:30 a.m. while I woke up my peers at 8:00 a.m. At 9:00 a.m. we had breakfast made by our wonder cooks Mary and Dominga. After, we got 2 hours of free time which meant that we had the opportunity to communicate with our parents, shower, or hang out with our peers. At 12:00 p.m. we had luncheon which was very delicious so thanks again to our cooks. After, we boarded our bus and left to the city of Yaguate which is 20 minutes away from Rancho Campeche.
Second, at the city of Yaguate our delegation got to spend time with our ambassadors. Big love to our ambassadors for the tour of the city of Yaguate. Next, we got to buy some delicious ice cream near the plaza and went to the local supermarket to buy some snacks. Our last hour in Yaguate some of our peers got to play basketball with some of our ambassadors. Our free time came to an end when we taught our second English class. In my class the students were so attentive and eager to know English. This time our lesson was more successful than the first time. Big Shout to Shea and Aya for being excellent partners during our English class. Our day came to an end with dinner and our regular nightly meeting. In conclusion, for me today was a very successful day since I got time to spend more time with my peers and also grow as a leader and manage to get out of my comfort zone. I am now more confident to speak to my peers in a louder voice and be the leader of the day one more time. Thank you Mom and Dad for making this trip possible this is definitely an opportunity of a lifetime LOVE AND MISS YOU GUYS!
It sounds like you guys are having a great time. It sounds exciting reading the daily blogs. I can’t believe that you didn’t shop during free time, but I know that time will come. Enjoy your experience of a Lifetime and make sure to journal all about it…The Good, the bad and the Ugly! I miss you baby gurl… Enjoy your Learning Cultural Vacation.
I’m so excited for my niece Micaiah Bell, this is a great opportunity for her. She has become the family’s world traveler, she has surpassed her great uncle and I with her many destinations. She will have memories of a lifetime, just like I do! I can’t wait to hear her stories. Love you always Kuta. Auntie Earleana
Hello all! And a special hello to Mikaela!!! I am so pumped to hear about your trip so far and can’t wait to see all that is to come. Keep up with all of your thoughts by journaling- a lot of the processing will happen after you get back and the more you have written down, the more you have to work with. I wish you all a good night’s rest and a little break from mosquitoes… maybe?
Hi to Julia – so good to hear from you, though you sounded underwater for most of the call :-). I did hear something about teaching English, so I hope you will find a way to work integrity, leadership, confidence and the other words on the baseball cards into your lessons. Looks like you have a nice basketball court – hope you are able to get some shots in. Day off so maybe you got your Doritos and Coke today? – haha! Keep up the good work it sounds like you all are doing. Love you and miss you. Mom
Hi Jordan! It was great to hear your voice the other day. Everyone misses you so much! After also reading your cousin Tyra’s blog and her GG trip with the Matagalpa1 group, it looks like you guys are experiencing a lot more than their group being that your group is the first to experience a Eco Ranch and its natural environment. Just think, your group is laying down the foundation for future San Cristobal Glimpsers so that in itself is exciting. It’s like your San Cristobal1 group is the first to land on the moon. Conditions may be uncomfortable, but you are experiencing the true San Cristobal, and knowing you, I don’t think you wouldn’t want it any other way. Keep up the good work son. We are very proud of you!
PS. I forgot to ask on the phone, did you take your meds on Wednesday?
Love Mom, Dad, Kayla, & Emma

Everyone can’t wait to hear your stories when your back. Awesome job Destiny and Vivian! Way to represent the 408!
Love Uncle Ben and Auntie Sylvie
