After we spent 16 days in San Juan de la Maguana, in the Dominican Republic with the students of New York in Delegation B, we have grown in several areas of our lives, both professionally and humanely. We were working together with the communities of low resources, we shared the same food, the same routine of the day by day and we also had a lot of fun with the different rhythms of the Dominican culture. Undoubtedly it was a unique experience where the mixture of feelings was felt throughout the trip. There were many laughs, also some tears but above all, there was a feeling of growth in an individual way that we can only describe as truly life-changing. Thank you Delegation B (Mis amigos) for being part of this valuable memory.
