Greetings, Fellow Panamaniacs! We’re your surrogate parents, Stephanie and Jeff, for our 16-day excursion to Las Tablas, Panama from June 30- July 15. We’re excited about our upcoming trip, which starts by meeting YOU at SFO at 2 a.m. on June 30th. (Don’t forget the copies of your passports!)  Your family and friends will be able to see what you’re up to during your trip if you send them the link to this blog. We’ll be giving you a call in the coming weeks but let us first introduce ourselves…

Stephanie: I am a Science/Health Career/AVID teacher and water polo/basketball/swim coach at Sequoia High School in Redwood City.  I am so excited be working with Global Glimpse for a third year and heading to Panama with YOU this year!  It’s absolutely OK to be nervous before embarking on a trip like this but those nerves will disappear as soon as you get to see the world through a different colored lens in Las Tablas.  I am so excited to absorb all of the wonderful experiences on this trip with you all!

Jeff: I teach French & AVID at San Marin High School in Novato. I’ve taught in 1 middle school, 2 junior colleges, 3 countries, 4 universities, 5 high schools, and 6 states, but not in that order. This will be my 4th GG trip (Nicaragua 2014, DR 2016, Ecuador 2018). A constant flow of water in your bottle and a growth mindset will go a long way in enjoying our explorations in Panama together. Looking forward to meeting all of you!
