Hello Family! I hope you all are doing well! Today we had a great full first day in the Dominican Republic! We started out by eating a full breakfast, which included eggs, salami, and mangu, We then had our morning meeting, where we started out our day discussing the safety and the history of the Dominican Republic. We then went on a town tour and ended our tour by eating delicious ice cream from Helados Ivon. We returned to the ranch to eat lunch, and afterwards, we went to Saldo Baiguate, which featured a beautiful waterfall we swam under. Swimming in the waterfall was everyone favorite part of the day. We then returned to the ranch after a long day to some homemade hamburgers and veggie burgers for dinner, and ended our night with some self-reflections, roses and thorns, and the selection of our brand new leader of the day Farhana!
