School is out and I am heading to graduation tonight!!! Just wanted to welcome everyone to the June 29 – July 17 Jinotega trip. Deborah Rocchild and I are looking forward to meeting all of you and experiencing Nicaragua with you.
Deborah went to Nicaragua 2 years ago and speaks Spanish, so she is the experienced one about traveling with Global Glimpse. I have worked with Global Glimpse for 5 years at our high school, but this is my first time being a leader on the trip. Deborah is a Spanish teacher and I am Head Counselor. I have traveled to Guatemala before, so I am interested in seeing the similarities and differences between these two countries.
