My name is María Vásquez. I am Social Worker and Mental Health Promoter. I LOVE nature, landscapes, waterfalls and natural paradises. I grew up in a countryside, so I am an outdoorsy person who finds sense of life by Hiking, Rafting, Rappelling, Kayaking, but also resting and spending time with family and friends.
I could describe my experience with young leaders in three main words: strength, motivation and resilience. When groups share empathy, clear communication, listening, and managing a sense of belonging, these experiences become experiences for life.
So, I hope we can share all these values in here, as I can show you this little paradise in Costa Rica making a positive impact in everyone’s life and, why not? continue leading and learning to impact other people’s life.

Hello there! My name is Melido and I’m from the Dominican Republic visiting Costa Rica for the first time (super exciting already!) it is my second year running students programs and my first year doing it abroad, in my free time I enjoy doing hikes and visiting hidden gems in nature, doing yoga and swimming as an sport. I have traveled to a few countries myself as a traveler and getting to know a new one through this experience is something I’m incredibly looking forward.
I currently work as an interpreter for which you will notice my English seems a bit advanced but make no mistake as Spanish is my first language and the one I feel most confortable on. With that said, can’t wait to meet you all!
