Welcome to Nicaragua.

We made it. There were a few hiccups, but we worked through those issues. Everybody is tired from the long flights and bus ride. Every body is showing positive attitudes and good spirits. We know everybody’s names and what animals those names are tagged with. Our meals have been good. Some of the highlights (Roses) for today was our getting to know each other activities; dinner; phone calls home; making new friends; and seeing Nicaragua for the first time. Tomorrow we will be focusing on the history and culture of Nicaragua.

Thank you for the note and the phone call – we are glad to hear your long trip to Estelí ended well! You must have seen a lot of beautiful Nicaraguan nature on the bus ride. We cannot wait to read more of your experiences – and perhaps see some pictures of all of you as well?
